Creating social edits to promote the new The Touch Union game

The Touch Union is the RFU’s new non-contact format of the game. Working with TMW I was asked to create a social edit from a storyboard using the raw footage shot by the agency. Alongside the edit I was also asked to create the motion graphics and transitions. The pace needed to be varied with some footage slowed down and some sped up. The edit needed to represent diversity and mixed genders. I incorporated the dynamic rotoscoping effect to really help make the edit punchy and appealing to young people.

The Edit was shown on the big screens at Twickenham during half time at a Rugby Union match and shared on The Touch Union social channels.
